Yes, indeed.
I am on a mission to bring the wonderful Jillian Venters (a.k.a. The Lady of the Manners), author and Headmistress of Gothic Charm School, to the UK. Her online advice column, website, and new book "Gothic Charm School: A Guide for Goths and Those Who Love Them", have flourished exponentially in the USA over the past year. The Gothic community in the UK, and the rest of Europe, would benefit so much from her.

So, I figure, what better way to introduce her than at Whitby Gothic Weekend?
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Whitby Gothic Weekend is a huge Gothic gathering at Whitby Abbey in the North of England. Whitby Abbey is best known as being a major haunt of Count Dracula, and now stands in glorious decay.

At the moment, I've just started a group on Facebook to gather as much people-power as I can. The next step is to write up a letter petitioning the fine people at Whitby to invite the Lady of the Manners as a special guest at one of the Gothic Weekends next year or the year after.
